Meet Dr. Beltz
Decades of experience, one goal — helping you feel better.
Dr. John Beltz, DC
Acupuncture: Self-pay at time of appointment.
I was born and raised in Portage County, and from an early age, I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to helping others. In 1985, I was honored to be named valedictorian of Rootstown High School, which allowed me to earn an academic scholarship to Kent State University. There, I pursued my passion for medicine, studying pre-medicine from 1985 to 1988. In 1992, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and later completed my Doctorate of Chiropractic at Logan College in Chesterfield, Missouri.
Throughout my career, I have been committed to expanding my knowledge and skills to better serve my patients. I have undergone extensive post-doctorate training in sports injuries, electrodiagnostic testing (nerve conduction testing and EMG), and acupuncture. Since 1992, I have had the privilege of providing care in the Akron area, helping people find relief from pain and improve their quality of life. Over the years, I have worked alongside a team of neurosurgeons and am currently part of a dedicated pain management group.
My goal is always to provide compassionate, individualized care, ensuring that each patient feels heard, understood, and supported on their journey to better health.
