For me, one of the most inspiring moments as a professional therapist is getting to witness someone heal from hurts in their lives. In my work with clients ranging from school age children to adults, I have walked along side numerous individuals and families as they journey through the healing process. Healing isn’t always easy, especially from things like trauma and my goal is to provide assistance and guidance where I can, to make the process less stressful. I want to help the people I work with to build an understanding and awareness of their symptoms and to help figure out how to manage and heal from their experiences.

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) with a plethora of mental health experience. I thrive in continuing to learn new techniques to bring to someone’s therapeutic journey which enables me to bring eclectic approaches to meet a person’s unique experience. In addition to traditional talk therapy like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Reality Therapy, I specialize in treating trauma and am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) as well as Trauma Focused CBT which are evidence-based approaches for trauma treatment. I work with high school aged and college aged young adults as an area of specialty, but also see those beyond their college years. I am also skilled in working with folks with identities within the LGBTQIA+ umbrella.  In addition to helping with trauma, I also can assist with improving communication, problem solving, understanding and building healthy relationships (family, friendships, intimate partner), depression and mood disorders, ADHD, anger management and emotional management. I work with individuals, couples and families.

My goal as a therapist is to work with you and find what works for you in your healing process. I am trained in many different techniques in order to have as many resources as possible to meet your needs in ways that are going to help you best. Working as a therapist and helping to hold space for hurts to heal is a responsibility and honor that I don’t take lightly. Each client I work with is unique and I am excited to help in whatever way I can in a way that works for them.
